Attend this hour-long session and discover 10 developmental facts about 10-15-year-olds that will help you as a parent, teacher, or administrator, better understand young adolescents and encourage educators to adjust school practices to better meet student needs.
Dr. Brown will respond to questions for 15 minutes after the hour-long session ends.

About Dave F. Brown, EdD
Dave F. Brown, EdD, is an educational researcher and author of the recently released book, Young Adolescents and the Middle Schools They Need (2025). Dave taught and coached 10-15-year-olds for over a decade. He interviews 5th–8th graders and reports their thoughts on what they want adults to know about them, and how schools should be designed to meet their needs. Dr. Brown provides professional development for educators internationally and nationally on young adolescent development and effective middle level school design.
