The Vermont Association for Middle Level Education (VAMLE) is an affiliate of the National Middle School Association (NMSA) and works in cooperation with the New England League of Middle Schools, also an affiliate of NMSA. The purpose of VAMLE is to support, encourage, and inspire middle level educators to develop programs and practices designed specifically around the needs of early adolescents, with the focus on learning for every student and a strong student voice.

Scoring Rubric for proposals
Mini-grant proposals will be accepted through February 15 to further the mission of the America's Promise Summit to provide exemplary practices for young adolescents toward the acquiring of skills for high school graduation and readiness for life. The ideal proposal will involve a collaborative effort between the schools and community organizations. Grants will be awarded and announced March 2, and projects should be completed by September 30. Please submit applications to Sue M. Gee, Executive Director.
