Board Members are vitally important to the growth and development of NELMS. Directors are elected to serve a four-year term with full authority and responsibility to develop policies, procedures and regulations for the operation of the League. It is also a wonderful professional experience! The following NELMS regions have a four (4) year term vacancy for Board of Directors representation:

Nominations forms are due by Friday, November 11, 2016.You can obtain a copy of the nomination form from the list of pdf's below (including Board Member responsibilities) or you can email the Board Liaison at email@example.com,

NELMS members in the appropriate regions will have the opportunity in December to cast ballots for these vacancies on the Board of Directors that will begin in May. For specific regional boundaries, please contact the Board Liaison.
Please exercise your right to vote and look for your ballot online in early December. Comprehensive members will receive two ballots (one to be completed by the principal and one by the NELMS membership contact person). Other memberships will receive one ballot.
Elections are overseen by the Nominations and Elections Committee of the Board of Directors. Election results will be confirmed at the January Board meeting and announced at the NELMS Annual Conference in April.
