NELMS offers a range of memberships listed below. Choose the one that best meets your individual or institutional needs: Comprehensive; Team Group; Individual Educator; Retiree/Student.

Comprehensive: $235
This membership is the most popular and enables all individuals within a school, organization or institution of higher learning to enjoy the benefits of membership.
Comprehensive membership includes the following benefits in addition to those listed below:
• Access to Parent Network-School Parent Groups can help initiate and sustain effective parent involvement. Receive information about adolescent development, effective middle level education, and parent group networking. All information will be e-mailed to the designated contact person.
• Voting privileges (2 votes)-New England members only.
Small School/Group: $125
The Small School membership enables all individuals within a small school organization to enjoy the full benefits of membership at a reduced price and includes two (2) votes per membership - New England members only. (Schools must have a combined enrollment of 200 students or fewer and/or have 12 or fewer (FTE) professional staff assigned to grades 6, 7, and 8. A list of 12 or fewer staff names must be submitted to NELMS with complete contact information)
OR
The Group membership enables an interdisciplinary team or another group of up to five (5) individuals to become members if their school is not a member. Five identified members are eligible for registration discounts per membership. (A designated person will receive all information for the group and a list of the five (5) or fewer staff must be submitted to NELMS with complete contact information)
Small School/Group membership includes the benefits listed below.
Individual Educator: $60
Membership enables an individual to receive information from NELMS directly.
Individual Educator membership includes the benefits listed below.
Retiree/Student: $30
These memberships are designed for anyone who will be or is a parent of a 10-14 year old, retired educators who choose to remain informed about middle school issues, or full-time college students preparing for careers in education.
Parent/Retiree/Student membership includes the benefits listed below.
ALL MEMBERSHIPS include the following benefits:
• Three (Fall, Winter and Spring) issues of the NELMS Journal available online with unlimited copying privileges
• Mid Lines-the teacher newspaper
• Pertinent and timely professional information via bi-monthly e-mail
• A variety of other NELMS information
• Parent's Room & Teacher's Room on the NELMS Web site-informative articles and links to educational Web sites
• Special member rates for NELMS services
• Up to 20% savings on publications
• Recognition programs
• Extensive advocacy efforts on your behalf
